Agata Chodera
Born in 1995 in Toruń. She completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Media Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw with a diploma from the Social Photography Studio. She completed her Master’s degree at the 3D and Virtual Occurrences II studio, also at the Faculty of Media Art. Graduate of the DOK PRO documentary film course at the Wajda School. Her areas of interest include sound, music videos, XR, films and documentaries, animal studies, postcolonialism and photography.

Agata Konarska
Born in 1995. Graduate of intermedia at UAP (the University of the Arts, Poznań) (2018), currently a student at the Faculty of Media Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Her artistic activities are based on the use of various media, such as video, sound and performance, through which she creates interactive situations. More recently, she has also been creating virtual realities. In her work she touches upon the theme of religiousness, oscillating between the sacred and the profane. She explores the phenomenon of female iconicity, looking for anthropological origins of matriarchy and its references in the Anthropocene. She often uses political, geological and animalistic motifs. She is fascinated by contemporary myths and rituals and the approaching apocalypse. She notoriously dreams of animal hybrids and architectural spaciousness.

Andrei Isakov
Born in 1989 in Minsk, Belarus. Graduate of the A.K. Glebov Belarusian Academy of Arts (2011) and the Faculty of Media Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2012-2016). During his studies, he conducted research related to the status of computer games in contemporary art. He launched and led the Animagica academic club. He currently works as an assistant and lecturer at the Faculty of Media Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He teaches classes in 3D graphics, modelling, animation and virtual reality, also works as an artist and graphic designer for the Rolling Monks gaming company and is involved in various art and social projects. Since 2016, he has been collaborating with art groups, including Inexsistens (Jakub Wróblewski, Przemysław Danowski) and Kissinger Twins (Dawid Marcinkowski, Katarzyna Kifert). In 2020, he collaborated on Krzysztof Garbaczewski’s production of Divine Comedy, creating one of the characters in the Unity engine. Also in 2020, he took part in the Polish game jam “Stay at home – make games”. Together with Agata Chodera they created an art game “Their Hearts, My Hands”, which was about rebuilding a community during the pandemic. He was a guest and participant at Games for Impact 2020, a festival dedicated to socially engaged games.

He works in video, interactive film, audiovisual narrative, film theory, graphic narrative structures, immersion activities and art-and-science projects. The scope of his search is wide, and his artistic strategy is based on exploring and going beyond the boundaries of the medium he currently works with. A holder of post-doctoral degree, he works at his alma mater as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Media Art; head of degree Studio of 3D and Virtual Occurrences. Visual artist, performer, activist. Master’s degree graduate of the Faculty of Media Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Final diploma: Studio of Spatial Activities, supervisor: professor Mirosław Bałka. Diploma annex: 3D and Virtual Occurrences Studio, supervisor: Jakub Wróblewski, Ph.D. Most recently, focused on industrial hemp penalisation in Poland as part of the final Master’s thesis. For purposes of the diploma annex, showcased the pandemic experience in a political context through live performative action on the Mozilla Hubs platform. His areas of interest include performance, collective work, virtual reality (VR), 3D, and artistic involvement in public protests. The centreline of his artistic practice bases on generating interactive experiences with the use of objects, performance and music. Has been actively contributing (since 2015) to the Bródno Sculpture Park developed on initiative of Paweł Althamer and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. Szaman Polski (Polish Shaman) project manager since 2018 (including i.a. Mecz o powodzenie mieszkańców Bródna / Match for the Success of Bródno Residents, 2018; performance at the BWA Warszawa Gallery, 2019; participation in the event W Polsce nie ma faszyzmu / There Is No Fascism in Poland, Powszechny Theatre, Warsaw, 2019; second prize of the 2019 Hestia Artistic Journey Awards / exhibition at the Museum of Modern art in Warsaw). Today, he focuses i.a. on working with virtual reality media on experiences inspired by Anthropocene, 3D technology, photogrammetry, and smartphone object scanning. Uses own electronic music compositions and soundscapes in his realisations. Working with sound is an essential part of his artistic practice.

A student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, she deals mainly with queer themes and feminist topics. She works with 3D motion capture, combining it with a classic performance. She also creates video-art and computer graphics. She is active as a rapper under the aliases Aljas and Aljas 2.0.

Krystyna Jędrzejewska-Szmek
Visual artist and biologist. A graduate of photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, the Faculty of Media Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and biology at the University of Warsaw. She worked for many years at the Botanical Garden of Warsaw University. Her interests focus on the interconnections and tensions between humans and the “more-than-human world” created by entities such as trees, toads, mosses and fungi. She consistently pursues her artistic activities on the borderline between art and science. A member of the ZAKOLE Group, which focuses on finding ways to narrate and experience environments such as marshlands and bringing the perspective of the creatures that inhabit them. Co-author of the award-winning artbook Tropicale which addresses the link between botany and colonialism. She operates not only in the visual sphere, but also as a writer and animator of various social activities and workshops.

Multimedia artist, born in 1995 in Belarus, graduated from the Faculty of Media Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She works with documentary and artistic photography, artzines, and the creation of short films. She is currently experimenting with volumetric film in the VR space.
