Ania Malinowska

Ania Malinowska,  University of Silesia  – author, curator, licensed hypnotherapist and professor in media and cultural studies with focus on  new technologies, emotional ecologies and cultural semiotics.  She researches hybrid (human-machine)  cohabitation, as well as cultures of emotions, feeling and affect. Associated with the University of Silesia, she is a co-founder (with professor Michał Krzykawski) of the  Centre for Critical Technology Studies. She is a former research fellow at The New School in New York (Fulbright), and at the University of California, Berkeley (Marie Curie Actions).. She has written extensively on past and current posthuman dynamics. Her latest books  is Love in Contemporary Technoculture (Cambridge University Press, 2022).
